The Wolverines have once again slain the dragon, but this time it is a different feeling. The last two years, Michigan has been the straight up underdog and overcame various levels of odds to pull off upset wins.
This year, Michigan entered the game as a suspect in a college football crime. The Wolverines have been lambasted by the national media and many college fan bases, putting them squarely in the villain role for the first time in years.
This isn’t a superhero movie, and the villain came out on top of this College Football Playoff level battle.
