It is finally the time of the year where college football fans get their fix for the sport they love so much.
Every program has a spring game to showcase some of the new players, systems, or to help settle position battles. After the spring game, there isn’t college football for another few months so fans are chomping at the bit to see how their team looks early on in the process.
Texas’ spring game has been tabbed as one of the more interesting ones across the country due to all the transfers they brought in, headlined by Ohio State quarterback transfer Quinn Ewers. It is also home to a very intriguing quarterback battle between Ewers and third-year player Hudson Card.
Besides the quarterback battle, the offense is absolutely loaded with weapons that has some experts like 247Sports’ Josh Pate believing that the Longhorns could have the No. 1 scoring offense in the nation.
When it comes to the defense, there is a growing interest in the secondary, and of course along the defensive line due to the fact that they were gashed all season in 2021.
With all of this being take into consideration, here are five Longhorns to keep an eye on during the spring game on Saturday.
