Ohio State last won the national title in 2015 when Urban Meyer roamed the sidelines in Columbus.

Monday’s title game is littered with stars from both teams. The Crimson Tide feature a record-setting offense led by Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith. Junior quarterback Justin Fields leads Ohio State’s prolific offense.

Alabama’s offense could be even scarier on Monday night with the potential return of star receiver Jaylen Waddle.

The 7-0 Buckeyes dominated the Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff semifinal after struggled against Northwestern in the Big Ten championship game.

Meanwhile, Alabama has steamrolled through the SEC en route to the College Football Playoffs and easily dispatched Notre Dame last week.
