Five initial thoughts from Texas’ spring game on Saturday

Our thoughts following the 2021 Texas Longhorns Orange and White spring football game.

The Quarterbacks

The offense appeared to flow more with Casey Thompson at quarterback. Thompson got the snaps with the starters and for the most part looked comfortable in the offense, aside from continuous dropped passes by receivers and a 96-yard interception returned for a touchdown by D’Shawn Jamison.

While Card played primarily with the second-team, he played like he was above them, pushing the ball down the field more than Thompson attempted and displayed his natural arm talent.
