The Washington State Cougars (8-2) and Oregon State Beavers (4-6) meet Saturday in Corvallis. The opening kickoff at Reser Stadium will be at 7 p.m. ET (CW Network). Below, we look at Washington State vs. Oregon State odds from FanDuel Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

With all but Washington State and Oregon State leaving the Pac-12 for other conferences before the season, this Cougars-Beavers game still technically counts as a Pac-12 game — often referred to as a “Pac-2” game.

Washington State headed into last Saturday’s contest at New Mexico as the 18th-ranked team in the US LBM Coaches Poll, as a 10.5-point favorite and with hopes of receiving an at-large bid to the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. But the Cougars fell flat in 38-35 loss. Wazzu coughed up a 28-14 halftime lead and allowed the Lobos to produce an 11-play, 75-yard winning drive, capped by a 1-yard TD run with 21 seconds remaining.

QB John Mateer threw for 375 yards with 4 TDs, while adding 65 yards and a TD on the ground, but the defense allowed a season-high 534 total yards as the Cougars had a 4-game win streak snapped. The defense was torched for 4 scoring drives in excess of 70 yards in the second half. The loss knocked WSU out of the Coaches Poll when the new rankings were released Sunday, while the AP Top 25 dropped the Cougars from 19th to No. 25.

It wasn’t a good past weekend for the Beavers either as they were shut out 28-0 as 3-point favorites at Air Force Saturday. QB Gabarri Johnson finished with 106 passing yards with no TDs and one interception, while unfortunately, leading OSU with 22 rushing yards. The loss marked the Beavers’ fifth in a row straight up and sixth straight against the spread. OSU had just 175 total yards of offense against the Falcons was the Beavers’ lowest single-game tally since 2019.

Washington State vs. Oregon State head-to-head

The Cougars and Beavers first met in 1903, and they have met 108 times overall. Wazzu leads the all-time series 57-48-3. Those 57 wins include a 38-35 triumph last season (Sept. 23, 2023) as 2.5-point home underdogs with the Over (59) cashing.

Oregon State won the last meeting (Oct. 25, 2022) in Corvallis 24-10 as 3-point home favorites with the Under (53) hitting, but the Beavers had lost 4 straight home series games before that win. Against the number, OSU is just 2-5 ATS over the last 7 games at Reser Stadium.
