Washington at Giants head-to-head

Washington beat the Giants in their first meeting this season, a 30-29 home victory in Week 2 by a game-winning 43-yard field goal as time expired. Heinicke threw 2 touchdowns and the defense sacked Jones 4 times.

Dating back to 1932, the rivals have played each other 179 times, including twice in the postseason. The Giants lead the all-time series 105-70-4 and had won five straight matchups before the loss earlier this season.

Heinicke has just the one career start against the Giants this season, while Jones is 4-1 in his career against Washington. However, Jones is on injured reserve and will not play in the season finale.
