First half highlights: Seahawks trail Lions 14-7

Halftime adjustments are needed from Seattle.

We’ve officially reached the intermission between the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions. Currently, the Seahawks are trailing the Lions 14-7. Seattle started the game strong, turning their first possession of the morning into a touchdown, courtesy of Kenneth Walker III.

It’s been a back-and-forth affair between Seattle and Detroit, but the Lions offense has been strong. The best defensive play of the game for the Seahawks was from their No. 5 pick, cornerback Devon Witherspoon. The young rookie broke up a crucial pass on 4th down.

Unfortunately, the Seahawks were unable to take advantage. Kicker Jason Myers missed from 45-yards out, then Detroit’s offense benefitted from Witherspoon’s inexperience.

The Lions will get the ball to start the 3rd quarter. Major halftime adjustments will be needed from Seattle if they want to steal one on the road.
