After an exciting championship weekend, the top-four teams expected a shakeup. Considering three of the top four teams won their games, the No. 5 team lost and the top-ranked team lost, it’s safe to say most people expected the the top four teams to be the same, just a new order.
Alabama defeated Georgia, Michigan easily handled Iowa and Cincinnati stayed strong against Houston.
Now that it’s time for “Bowl Season,” here are the top four teams and the next two out for the College Football Playoff.
The College Football Playoff committee has spoken and the stage is set.
- Alabama
- Michigan
- Georgia
- Cincinnati
- Notre Dame
- Ohio State
The two semi-final games will be the Orange Bowl and the Cotton bowl, where we will see Alabama take on Cincinnati and Michigan and Georgia square off.
Alabama will face the Cincinnati Bearcats in Arlington, Texas at the Cotton bowl, and Georgia and Michigan will be squaring off in the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.
