Film review: A reminder that Julio Jones is still very good at football

If you’re wondering if the 32-year-old still has it.

The Falcons are shopping Julio Jones in a trade, which should really have every single one of the other 31 NFL teams rushing to give Atlanta a call. But for whatever reason, the market for Jones’ services is, in the words of The MMQB’s Albert Breer, “tepid.”

Maybe teams don’t feel the need to give into the Falcons’ initial demands with Jones (maybe unknowingly) telling Shannon Sharpe and the rest of the world that he’s out of Atlanta. It even seems as if the fans of potential trade partners aren’t all that excited by the prospect of giving up valuable draft capital to land the seven-time Pro Bowler. For instance, we have Browns fans out here debating between Jarvis Landry and Julio Freaking Jones.

I don’t get it.

To make sure I wasn’t the crazy one here, I went back and watched the film of the last game Jones appeared in and I can confirm that he is still awesome at playing football. If you’re not willing to just take my word for it — I don’t blame you — here are some clips of Jones proving he has plenty left in the tank.
