FedEx’s sponsorship of Denny Hamlin expected to resemble 2023 NASCAR season

FedEx’s sponsorship of Denny Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing is expected to be roughly the same going into the 2024 NASCAR season.

[autotag]Denny Hamlin[/autotag] will return to Joe Gibbs Racing for the 2024 NASCAR season, but FedEx has not announced an extension yet. The company is expected to continue its partnership with Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing, but its involvement in NASCAR has decreased over the last few years. Now, there appears to be more details about FedEx’s pending return in 2024.

According to Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, FedEx is expected to sponsor Hamlin in roughly the same number of NASCAR Cup Series races compared to the 2023 season. The company was on the No. 11 car only 12 times, which is significantly less than its full-season sponsorship during the 2021 season.

FedEx began cost-cutting following the campaign and has gradually decreased its involvement with Joe Gibbs Racing. Unlike Mars with Kyle Busch, the company should stay but at a lesser cost. Hamlin is pushing to win a Cup Series championship, and it would only be fitting if FedEx is a part of the equation if he ever has the opportunity to lift the trophy.
