San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk has been impressive since entering the NFL 4 seasons ago. Aiyuk was selected 25th overall by San Francisco in the 2020 NFL Draft. He had a solid first few seasons in the league but really became a star in 2023, eclipsing 1,300 yards for the first time in his career on an impressive 17.9 yards per reception average. Below, we look at Brandon Aiyuk’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Entering 2024, Aiyuk is expected to again play a big role in a dynamic 49ers offense. Ideally, Aiyuk has the potential to be a top-10 fantasy receiver.

Brandon Aiyuk’s ADP: 42.65
(ADP data courtesy of MyFantasyLeague.com; last updated at time of this publishing – ADPs continually change as more drafts occur)
Aiyuk has an ADP of 42.65 in redraft leagues, which puts him in the range of the 3rd to 5th round, depending on the size of the league. His ADP is lower than that of teammate Deebo Samuel (30.04), though.
Among WRs, Aiyuk’s ADP puts him 23rd at the position, behind the likes of DeVonta Smith (Philadelphia Eagles, 42.83), Michael Pittman (Indianapolis Colts, 40.82) and DK Metcalf (Seattle Seahawks, 37.75), and slightly ahead of Amari Cooper (Cleveland Browns, 51.47), Zay Flowers (Baltimore Ravens, 55.32) and Tee Higgins (Cincinnati Bengals, 59.65).

Where should you draft Aiyuk?
Aiyuk’s fantasy value may taken a hit this year given the numerous mouths to feed in a dynamic 49ers offense. Samuel and RB Christian McCaffrey, who is among the best pass-catching RBs in the NFL, will probably each get more targets than him. While Aiyuk could replicate last season, there’s not much room in the offense to build on those numbers.
With the 49ers, Aiyuk should see 100-plus targets and again top 70 receptions; however, one should expect his yards per reception to come down a bit and around 1,200-1,300 yards from the 5th-year star. Aiyuk was the 10th-best fantasy option last season and has more of a realistic expectation to be around the 15th-best as he was in 2022.
Draft Aiyuk in the late 4th round, and don’t let him slip to the end of the 5th. He has more value in standard leagues given his lack of volume targets.
