Below, we look at Garrett Wilson’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

As we head into the 2024 season, Wilson is easily considered a WR1 in most fantasy formats, and it’s possible he takes another step forward in his development as a pro.

Garrett Wilson’s ADP: 15.13

Wilson’s 15.13 ADP in redraft formats makes him a top-notch WR1 for fantasy managers who might miss out on the top-tier targets in the 1st round. Wilson’s ADP ranks him 8th among wideouts, just behind Arizona rookie Marvin Harrison Jr. (15.12). Call me crazy, but between those 2 Ohio State products, I’d rather take the guy with a more proven track record in the NFL.

The top 10 wide receivers by ADP are Miami’s Tyreek Hill (4.06), Dallas’ CeeDee Lamb (4.74), Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown (7.20), Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase (7.75), Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson (7.79), Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown (11.90), Harrison Jr., Wilson, the Ram’s Puka Nacua (18.09) and Las Vegas’ Davante Adams (22.94).

Where should you draft Wilson?

Heading into the 2023 season, there was tremendous optimism surrounding the Jets. They had legitimate championship aspirations after landing likely Hall of Fame QB Aaron Rodgers. That hope last a few snaps into the season before Rodgers ruptured an Achilles’ tendon in a season-ending injury.

Despite the fact Wilson was forced to work with past QBs Tim Boyle, Trevor Siemian and Zach Wilson, none of which are on the Jets’ 2024 roster, the young wide receiver. He had a 2nd 1,000-yard campaign in as many NFL seasons, and fantasy managers are looking for a giant step forward in Year 3, as long as Rodgers, and Wilson, can stay healthy.

If you end up with Wilson as a WR1, you’re likely drafting late in the 1st round or in the middle of the 2nd round. Some fantasy managers in PPR leagues could, potentially, land Wilson as a WR2 in snake drafts after taking another top-tier option with their 1st pick.

Either way, with Wilson, you’re going to get a player with plenty of upside, and tremendous consistency.
