Where should you draft Waddle?
Waddle’s fantasy value was underrated last season with the expectant arrival of Hill, but it quickly became clear the duo could coexist. While Waddle did see a drop in targets (140 to 117), his total yards skyrocketed from 1,015 to 1,356.
Waddle has the potential to be a solid underneath receiver while also seeing various deep routes, but, like Hill, he’s excellent after the catch and the mere threat of QB Tua Tagovailoa throwing to Hill opens things up for Waddle.
Draft Waddle after Hill, but don’t let him fall out of the 3rd round in 10-team leagues. When healthy, he’s good for 70-80 catches and well over 1,000 yards. With an explosive receiver like Hill on his team, Waddle will be able to exploit cornerbacks, making him a solid point producer on any fantasy team that drafts him.
