Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb has been impressive in his 4 NFL seasons. Taken with the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Lamb has been selected for the Pro Bowl in his last 3 seasons and earned his first All-Pro nomination in 2023. Lamb had both the longest reception and most receptions in the NFL last season. Below, we look at CeeDee Lamb’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.

Entering 2024, Lamb is primed to be among the most target-heavy receivers in the NFL. He’s being drafted as the best receiver in the league and has huge expectations on his shoulders. The star wide out is intriguing in terms of fantasy value.

Where should you draft Lamb?

The Cowboys are going to have one of the most pass-heavy attacks in the NFL. That’s where Lamb’s value comes into play, and he’s going to be, by far, the No. 1 option on the team. There are no great options behind him with the team’s No. 2 being 30-year-old WR Brandin Cooks, and the team’s tight ends and RBs aren’t likely to take much target share either. It is going to be the Lamb show for the Cowboys in 2024.

The Cowboys gave Prescott a $160 million, 4-year deal, so they should expect to use their star QB frequently, making Lamb even more important to the Dallas offense. With RB Tony Pollard now in Tennessee, there isn’t going to be a great receiving option out of the backfield either.

The departure of Pollard without the addition of any major weapon should have Lamb receiving a lofty amount of the target share in a high-octane attack. He was the No. 1 overall WR in fantasy last season and should retain that crown. He could realistically see 200-plus targets.

Draft Lamb in the 1st round. Don’t let him fall to the back half of the 1st either. When he and Prescott are healthy, he could be the best fantasy player in the league and is even more valuable in PPR formats. Feel free to take him No. 1 overall as well.
