Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins has been impressive in his 4 NFL seasons. Higgins was taken with the 1st pick in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft and is set to be a free agent this upcoming season — added incentive to star for the Bengals. Higgins is coming off his worst season as a pro, totaling just 656 receiving yards after consecutive 1,000-yard campaigns. Below, we look at Tee Higgins’ 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Higgins, who is healthy after playing just 12 games last season, is set to explode for a Bengals offense which has QB Joe Burrow healthy. Higgins has top-10 receiver upside this season. The star receiver is no doubt intriguing in terms of fantasy value.

(ADP data courtesy of MyFantasyLeague.com; last updated at time of this publishing – ADPs continually change as more drafts occur)
Higgins’ 59.33 ADP in redraft leagues has him getting drafted in the 5th to 8th round, depending on the size of the league. On the Bengals, his ADP is behind Burrow’s (53.34) and fellow WR Ja’Marr Chase (7.64).
Among wide receivers, Higgins’ ADP puts him 28th at the position, behind Cleveland’s Amari Cooper (53.67), Baltimore’s Zay Flowers (56.92) and Pittsburgh’s George Pickens (59.13). Higgins is slightly ahead of Buffalo’s Keon Coleman (66.90), Houston’s Tank Dell (66.92) and Chicago’s Keenan Allen (66.99).

Where should you draft Higgins?
Higgins’ fantasy value should get a boost from the return of Burrow, but the better question is: Can Higgins return to the player he was in 2022? The Clemson product had a breakout season in 2021-22 with 74 catches for 1,091 yards and 6 TDs. He followed that up with 74 catches for 1,029 yards and 7 scores in 2022-23, but he had numerous drops last season and has injury concerns for the 1st time in his career.
Higgins will have to play second fiddle to Chase, but with the attention Chase gets, that might not be a bad thing for Higgins’ fantasy value. In 2022-23, Higgins had 4 games in which he topped 100 yards, scoring in 3 of those.
If Higgins can give that type of production, he can be a top-15 fantasy option. At his current ADP, that would be a steal. There’s no reason to think he can’t return to that standard, especially with a new contract dependent on his play this season.
Draft Higgins slightly after a player like Cooper, but considering the sporadic nature of players like Pickens, Cooper and Flowers and the fact that Higgins at least has a top-3 quarterback to rely on, Higgins’ current ADP is undervalued. He should be good for 70-plus catches and around 1,000 yards. Snag him in the middle of the 5th round in 12-team formats.
