Where should you draft Cousins?

Cousins’ fantasy value is peculiar this season due to the Falcons’ NFL Draft move by taking Penix with the 8th overall pick. Cousins penned a 4-year, $180 million contract with Atlanta over the offseason before the pick and will be the starter.

The vet will be throwing to an average receiving corp that is headlined by WR Drake London. However having TE Kyle Pittsand RB Bijan Robinsonwill also beef up the options. Robinson’s ability to run will open the field for the offense to move the ball.

Draft Cousins before Penix Jr. While it is unclear how Atlanta will approach the QB situation, it is simply paying Cousins too much to ride the pine. When healthy, he’s good for 4,000-plus yards and 30-plus TDs.
