The Kansas City Chiefs were without star running back Isiah Pacheco for much of the regular season but got him back when they faced the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 13.
Fantasy football managers were faced with a difficult decision when Pacheco was placed on Kansas City’s injured reserve list after Week 2, and now that he has returned to the field, some may be unsure if they should start him.
For those on the fence about getting Pacheco back in their lineups, the experts at Pro Football Network provided some key insight that may help convince managers to give the Rutgers product a chance in Week 14.
“Isiah Pacheco played 32.8% of the Chiefs snaps in his return to action, and while he had just eight touches in the win over the Raiders, he had a 34-yard run, something he only did twice last season.”
Though the Chiefs have found success with Kareem Hunt as their No. 1 option in the running game, Pacheco’s return could prove to be a boon for Kansas City’s offense as the defending Super Bowl champions make their push toward the playoffs.
Stay tuned to see if Pacheco gets more touches in the Chiefs’ Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
