RB Adrian Peterson

The Redskins are getting back running back Derrius Guice this week. In one way or another, that’s going to cut into Adrian Peterson’s role which he was doing pretty well in. Washington is also going up against the Jets this week who are the second-best run defense in the NFL, allowing only 81.9 yards per game. Not the best outlook for AP.

RB Sony Michel

Things have gone brutal for Sony Michel as of late and it’s not going to get any better against the fourth-best team against the run this week, the Eagles. In the Patriots’ last game, he only had four carries. The week prior he had 21, but only averaged 3.5 yards per carry. Plus the way to beat the Eagles is by attacking their secondary and you’ve got to think the Pats are confident in that Tom Brady guy.

WR Alshon Jeffery

Alshon Jeffery is in a poor run of form and there’s no reason to think he’s going to come out of his funk with the Patriots on deck. Stephen Gilmore & Co. have locked down everyone this year. New England has only allowed one touchdown to a wideout this season and have kept all but one receiver they’ve faced to under 79 yards.

TE Kyle Rudolph

Kyle Rudolph’s been hot, you have to give him that. In his last four games, he has four touchdowns. But despite Adam Thielen being out, Rudolph is very touchdown heavy and is facing a Broncos defense that has only allowed one touchdown this season to opposing tight ends, who play in a division with Travis Kelce and Darren Waller.
