Over the years of its illustrious existence, Penn State has produced some of the brightest minds and some of the biggest fans for the Nittany Lions. Football has produced hall of fame players such as Jack Ham and Franco Harris. Wrestling has several Olympic and high-profile wrestlers like Cael Sanderson and Phil Davis. However, outside of sports they have may have some of the most impactful alumni of any university.
Chemists, politicians, and performers all are a part of the Penn State family and thus have been able to spread the Nittany Lion pride all over the world. Even for those that didn’t attend the university, they support the school and wear the colors spreading their love.
One thing that is very understated about Penn State is how welcoming it is of its alumni and fans. Schools always advertise their alumni and events to bring them back but for Penn State it is different. Alumni and fans flock to Beaver Stadium and the Bryce Jordan Center to be a part of the fabric of State College for one more time, get to know the faces of these notable fans and alumni.
