With the Dallas Cowboys inability to stay relevant in the NFC East title picture over the course of 12 weeks, the NFL has decided to make a switch in your viewing schedule for Week 15.
The Cowboys were originally scheduled to battle the San Francisco 49ers in AT&T Stadium on Sunday Night Football. This is no longer the case as the league decided to flex out the Cowboys game and move them to 1 PM EST. Replacing this game will be the New York Football Giants who will take on Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns. We wondered if the league would give up the cash cow of the Cowboys and their ratings bonanza, but New York’s improvement gives them a big market team to move into the formula.
Cowboys have lost nine of 12 games. So, they’ve now lost their “Sunday Night Football” placement for a Week 15 home matchup with the 49ers. Dec. 20 kickoff has been moved from 7:20 p.m. on NBC to noon on CBS. Browns-Giants is new SNF selection.

The Cowboys have now run out of prime time games for the 2020 season. There might even be a sigh of relief from Cowboys nation. They will play their last four games (@Bengals, vs. Eagles, vs. 49ers, @ Giants) at either 1 PM EST or 4:25 PM EST. “America’s Team” will be seen by a few less eyes for the remainder of the year.
