A lot is being made about the Atlanta Falcons acquiring so my first-round picks on offense, but the reality is that not every highly-touted college player pans out.
Earlier this week, the Falcons signed wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, a first-round pick by the Vikings back in 2016.
While Treadwell has yet to live up to the hype he had coming out of Mississippi, the 24-year-old still has upside. Perhaps playing in a pass-happy offense like Atlanta’s could be just what he needs to carve out a role in this league.
Falcons reporter Kelsey Conway spoke with Treadwell, who expressed excitement over joining such a talented team. Check out the interview below, as shared by the Falcons’ Twitter account:
"It's exciting to join an offense that's already firing at a high level. I'm super excited to work with everyone and work with high caliber talent." – @SuccessfulQuon pic.twitter.com/rI1IFT7qfZ
