Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley said he expected to top 1,000 receiving yards in 2020, and then went out and did it. Entering Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Ridley needed 95 yards to hit the milestone.
The 2018 first-round pick out of Alabama has recorded exactly 95 yards in the first half against the Chargers.

Ridley now has 63 catches for 1,000 receiving yards and eight touchdowns this season. Without Julio Jones for potentially the remainder of the year, Ridley still has three full games to add to his new career-high yardage total.
