The Atlanta Falcons are changing things up at the running back position just two days after releasing their first 53-man roster. On Thursday, the team signed former New York Giants running back Wayne Gallman and released Qadree Ollison.

Gallman is the more accomplished back of the two, playing with the New York Giants for the past four seasons and rushing for 1,444 yards and nine touchdowns, while adding 80 catches, 498 receiving yards and two additional scores.
Last year, Gallman rushed for a career-best 682 yards and six touchdowns on 4.6 yards per carry. He got extended time once Saquon Barkley went down with a season-ending injury.
Ollison, a fifth-round pick out of Pittsburgh back in 2019, was entering his third season and finally appeared to be in line for meaningful reps. In 11 career games with the Falcons, Ollison rushed 23 times for 53 yards and four touchdowns.
