The Falcons are seeking permission to speak with Cowboys DL coach Aden Durde, ESPN reported on Friday

The Atlanta Falcons named Raheem Morris the 19th head coach in franchise history on Thursday night and the team is already looking to fill out the rest of the coaching staff.

Rams quarterbacks coach/passing-game coordinator Zac Robinson is someone Atlanta is reportedly interested in as an offensive coordinator. Another name was linked to the team on Friday.

According to ESPN’s Todd Archer, the Falcons have requested permission to speak with Cowboys defensive line coach Aden Durde.

Durde has spent the last three seasons as the Cowboys defensive line coach and spent three years in Atlanta from 2018-2020 as a quality control coach and linebackers coach.

The 44-year-old also spent one year as a Falcons coaching intern in 2016 during the team’s Super Bowl run. According to Archer, both the Rams and Packers are showing interest in Durde.
