The Atlanta Falcons have struggled to find a competent edge rusher in recent years, but defensive lineman Grady Jarrett has been a model of consistency in the middle. Coming off his second Pro Bowl appearance in 2020, Jarrett will be needed more than ever in 2021 as the team transitions to Dean Pees’ scheme.
The former fifth-round pick out of Clemson was the second Falcons player revealed on the NFL Network’s top 100 countdown. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley was ranked at No. 65, and now Jarrett comes in at No. 54.

Jarrett, 28, recorded 52 tackles (27 solo), four sacks and 21 QB hits last season. In 2020, he was ranked 37 spots lower (No. 91) on the NFL Network’s countdown, which is voted on by the players.
While it’s nice to see the Falcons have representation on both sides of the ball, don’t expect any other members of the team to make this year’s top 100 following last year’s 4-12 finish.
