The Atlanta Falcons have named their game-day captain for Sunday’s season finale against the New Orleans Saints. Cornerback A.J. Terrell will join the team’s five permanent captains in Week 18, according to team reporter Terrin Waack.

Atlanta named five season-long captains — safety Jessie Bates, right tackle Kaleb McGary, kicker Younghoe Koo, defensive lineman Grady Jarrett and guard Chris Lindstrom — at the start of the year.
The Saints are favored by three points entering Sunday’s season finale in New Orleans. The Falcons will start quarterback Desmond Ridder after ruling Taylor Heinicke out due to a an ankle injury.
