MARTEZ IVEY – OFFENSIVE TACKLE

Martez Ivey, an offensive tackle from Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida, is No. 3 on our Mount Rushmore list. Coming out of high school in 2015 at 6-foot-5.5-inches and weighing 275 pounds, the young Ivey was a formidable force on the offensive line.

247Sports gave him a five-star rating while ranking him second in the nation overall that year, first at his position and first in the state of Florida. His 0.9991 score is third-best in Florida history.

Ivey suffered a slightly torn meniscus in his left knee during practice in August 2015, sidelining him for the first two weeks of the season. He played in the last 12 games and started the final eight, including the Citrus Bowl matchup against the Michigan Wolverines.

Ivey signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on July 30, 2019, and released exactly a month later during final roster cuts. In 2020, he was drafted in the second round in Phase 2 of the 2020 XFL draft by the Tampa Bay Vipers. He is a free agent after his contract was annulled when the league suspended operations in April 2020.
