Class: 2020

Rating: Five-star / No. 2 overall / No. 1 DT-QB (0.9994)

Home town: Santa Ana, California

High school: Mater Dei High School

All-time school commits: No. 3

Breakdown: Bryce Young is the highest-rated quarterback to ever commit to Alabama. Despite his small stature (6-foot-0, 190 pounds), Young is a phenomenal talent who has shown glimpses through his brief time with the Crimson Tide.

But why was he rated that highly coming out of high school? Well, over his last three scholastic seasons, he combined for 11,805 passing yards and 138 touchdowns to 15 interceptions. He was effective with his legs, rushing for 930 yards and 22 scores during that time.

As of right now, Mac Jones is the clear-cut starter at Alabama. But once he decides to move to the NFL, the quarterback position in Tuscaloosa will be left in great hands with Young.
