Class: 2017

Rating: Five-star / No. 2 overall / No. 1 RB (0.9984)

Home town: Antioch, California

High school: Antioch High School

All-time school commits: No. 8

Breakdown: Najee Harris still hasn’t wrapped up his playing career at Alabama. But, so far, the California native has been as advertised since arriving in Tuscaloosa prior to the 2017 season.

Like most running backs, Harris had to wait his turn before becoming the featured back, but he has dominated since the beginning of last season. Through eight games this season, he has rushed for 893 yards and a whopping 17 touchdowns while adding 244 yards receiving.

Last year, Harris ran for 1,244 yards while finishing second in the SEC in rushing touchdowns (13). He added another 304 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.

Harris was a load at Antioch High School, and he’s been a load in the Southeastern Conference.
