Every gearhead dreams of working on Formula One cars, and F1 Manager 2022 will make those fantasies a reality.
F1 Manager 2022 is an officially-licensed management sim from Frontier, the studio that brought us Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster, and Jurassic World Evolution. Not only that, F1 Manager 2022 marks the start of a new annual franchise. Formula One brand director Ross Brawn spoke about what fans can expect from the game.
“The F1 Manager franchise is a great opportunity for fans to put themselves in the shoes of a team principal and experience some of that for themselves,” Brawn said in a press release. “I am confident that with their own successful track record in management gaming, Frontier will deliver an enjoyable and engaging experience for fans.”

Similar to Football Manager 2022, fans will take part in all the decision-making expected of a Formula One crew in F1 Manager 2022. From upgrading cars down to balancing budgets. Game director Andy Fletcher stressed Frontier’s commitment to authenticity.
“There’s never been a better time to be a Formula 1 fan, and we’re excited to deliver a new way for F1 fans to immerse themselves in the biggest racing spectacle in the world,” Fletcher said in a press release. “F1 Manager 2022 will deliver an experience for both new and long-term fans that is as authentic as it is exciting.”
F1 Manager 2022 will release sometime this summer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
