A calf injury will shelve Ezekiel Elliott from the Cowboys’ game with the 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys will be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott for their game Sunday with the San Francisco 49ers.

Elliott will miss his first game due to injury with a calf issue.

Elliott suffered a calf bruise in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. e did not practice during the week, but coach Mike McCarthy said he expected Elliott to be able to play.

Elliott has rushed for 832 yards and 5 TDs in 13 games.
