Another former Tennessee Titans player is set to join the Atlanta Falcons, something that has become commonplace since former Titans offensive coordinator and current head coach Arthur Smith took over there.

On Sunday, former Titans linebacker Andre Smith announced on Twitter he has signed with the Falcons after a rookie minicamp tryout this past weekend.

Smith even threw in a reference to Tennessee’s wildly popular schedule release video in his tweet — well played, sir.

Smith was originally signed to the Titans’ practice squad last November and stayed there until he was promoted to the team’s active roster in December.

However, he was elevated from the practice squad on gameday multiple times the weeks prior. In all, Smith played in five contests and tallied six tackles. All of his 81 snaps in Tennessee came on special teams.

Prior to his stint in Nashville, the North Carolina product appeared in 46 contests over four seasons, spending two apiece with the Carolina Panthers (2018 and 2019) and Buffalo Bills (2020 and 2021).
