Expert Predictions: What are Florida’s chances at beating Georgia?

Here’s how the Gators Wire crew thinks things will go down this Saturday in Jacksonville.

As the end of October nears that nip in the air can mean only one thing to Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs fans: the annual gridiron matchup in Jacksonville for the Worlds Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party, which lands on Oct. 29 this year.

Georgia has been on the up-and-up in recent years culminating in its first title since 1980, while Florida has floundered since the waning days of the [autotag]Dan Mullen[/autotag] era. The Bulldogs hold a solid edge on the Gators in the all-time series with a 53-44-2 record dating back to the first meeting in 1915 with both schools own series-high seven-game winning streaks — Florida’s coming from 1990 to 1996 and Georgia’s from 1941 to 1948.

The Gators Wire crew converged to give their predictions for the Gators’ upcoming rivalry game against the Bulldogs. Take a look below at what we think will go down this Saturday on the shores of the St. John’s River.
