Ex-Giant Victor Cruz to appear on The Rock’s ‘Titan Games’

Retired New York Giants WR Victor Cruz will appear on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “Titan Games” on NBC.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced the lineup for the upcoming season of his NBC competition show, “The Titan Games.”

Former New York Giants wide receiver and Cleveland Browns great Joe Thomas are among six world-class athletes chosen to compete on the program.

The season begins Monday, May 25 with Special Two-Hour Episode at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Two-time Olympic gold-medal winning and current undisputed boxing world champion Claressa Shields, NFL Iron Man Legend and 10x Pro-Bowler Joe Thomas, Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz, Olympic gold-medal winning snowboarder Hannah Teter, professional stunt woman and star “American Ninja Warrior” Jessie Graff, and five-time UFC champion Tyron Woodley have all accepted the challenge to join the competition.

In addition to the new Celebrity Titans, this all new season of “The Titan Games” includes completely new elements to the competition including a brand-new Titan arena, Mount Olympus and never-before-seen challenges alongside returning favorites.

Cruz, 33, was an undrafted free agent out of UMass that burst onto the NFL scene with the Giants in 2010 and his electric play and famous salsa touchdown dance made him a household name. He was a member of the Giants’ Super Bowl XLVI championship team, catching a touchdown in the game.

Cruz’ Giants career was cut short by a torn patellar tendon injury during the 2014 season. He managed a comeback in 2016 and was eventually released by the Giants in 2017. Cruz briefly joined the Chicago Bears before retiring from football in 2018.
