The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team just isn’t the same squad without point guard Te-Hina Paopao or center Nyara Sabally. They had a difficult time finding any offensive rhythm and UC Davis took full advantage in the 64-57 upset over the No. 18 team in the nation.
Although the Ducks were playing without key players, you have to give the Aggies credit as they were the most aggressive team. If there was a hustle board inside Matthew Knight Arena, UC Davis would win that too.
Oregon couldn’t win rebound battle and it seemed like if there was a key offensive rebound or a loose ball, it would wind up in the hands of a player in a blue uniform.
Kelly Graves and the Ducks have to hope things will turn around once the walking wounded are back in action.
