Auburn is back in the win column.
It was a close contest, but in the end, the Tigers defeated the Ole Miss Rebels for the second time this season, 78-74, to win a game after previously dropping three of their last four matchups. The win was an important one for a struggling Auburn team, and coach [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] made sure to note that in his opening statement. He also discussed the Rebels’ staunch defense across the game and the Tigers’ ability to close the game out when it mattered.
