Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian met with the media on Monday following the Longhorns’ upset loss against Texas Tech over the weekend.
Sarkisian harped on fixing the self-inflicted issues shown on both sides of the ball in the loss. Everyone in the program needs to take accountability for the errors that ultimately led to Texas losing the game.
Injuries continue to impact Texas this season, but Sarkisian provided a positive update about the health of his team. All four quarterbacks practiced on Monday, defensive lineman Moro Ojomo is back working with the team and wide receiver Xavier Worthy is day-to-day.
Sarkisian remains confident that this squad is a much-improved team compared to last season. He states Texas’ team mentality is “pissed off” entering the new week of practice.
The Longhorns look to bounce back as they welcome West Virginia to town this Saturday.
Here is a look at everything Steve Sarkisian said during his media availability following Monday’s practice.
