Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian addressed the media at the Houston Touchdown Club on Wednesday.
Sarkisian updated on where his team stands entering year three as the Longhorns coach. He believes Texas’ next step is learning how to live up to and handle high expectations.
The Longhorns roster is in as good of shape in quite some time. Texas has no glaring holes to fill on the team, with depth on both sides of the ball.
Sarkisian went into more detail about how Arch Manning’s recruitment played out. He emphasized Manning’s decision had nothing to do with NIL, but rather the great opportunities the Texas football program provides.
Sarkisian mentioned he is going to be on sight in Kansas City on Thursday to support superstar running back Bijan Robinson at the NFL Draft. Robinson is expected to be the first Longhorn taken in the first round since 2015.
