Everything Mickey Joseph said following Nebraska win

The Huskers win back-to-back conference games for the first time since 2018.

Nebraska defeated Rutgers on Friday night by a score of 14-13. The Cornhuskers now sit at 2-1 in Big Ten play following the victory. Nebraska will now prepare for another Big Ten East road trip as they travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, and face the Purdue Boilermakers.

Following the win, Interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph spoke to the media. Here is everything he had to say.

Opening statement:

“The coaches did their job with the game plan, they got themselves prepared and ready to come on the short week. It was a great game. We asked them to fight at halftime, and then in the fourth quarter, we asked them to finish. We asked them to finish, and they did.”
