Everything Buzz Williams had to say after dominant win over Missouri

Here’s what Texas A&M Head Coach Buzz Williams had to say after the road win over Missouri.

Texas A&M’s (14-8, 5-4 SEC) sweeps the season series vs the hapless Missouri Tigers (8-15, 0-10 SEC) 79-60 after an impressive team win Wednesday night.

The Aggies looked every bit like a top-25 team against the Tigers after putting together a strong showing on the road. Tyrece Radford seems to be rounding back into shape and transfer guard Jace Carter had one of his better games of the season. If they can keep this pace, it will take a lot of pressure off Wade Taylor making it harder on defenses going forward.

One player Coach Buzz Williams has been able to count on is Andersson Garcia who’s been an unsung hero this season. He does all the dirty work and grabbing rebounds is the top job. Garcia has also earned comparisons to one of the most prolific rebounders in NBA history.

“Andy just has an innate sense as I said a month or so ago he’s Dennis Rodman when that ball’s in flight and you don’t you don’t think that he is he doesn’t look like that”

“You guys have heard me say it a lot … 550ish games that I’ve coached 17 years as a head coach I’ve never seen someone that has the impact on the game that he does that doesn’t have to have the ball and doesn’t have to score”

A&M will take the court again to face the 6th-ranked Tennesse Volunteers in College Station on Saturday night. The game will air on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. CT.
