This feels like a college football version of The Price Is Right. Give the score of the USC-Colorado football game on September 30 in Boulder. How many points will USC score? How many will Colorado score? What will be the total? Come closest to the correct numbers, and you’ll win a new car!
Okay, okay, no one will win a new car based on the outcome of this game, but maybe a high-roller will place a lot of money on this game and win enough money to afford a new car. You get the point: Everyone wants to know where the over-under will be set for this battle between Caleb Williams and Shedeur Sanders, two quarterbacks who have dazzled early in this 2023 season. Seeing Colorado throw the ball around the yard against TCU, and then seeing USC and Caleb post 66 points against Nevada a few hours later, has certainly raised the national profile of Trojans-Buffaloes in four weeks.
A game which seemed to be a very easy one for USC before the season began now feels a lot more dangerous and unpredictable. It also feels like an ultimate shootout.
Fans are talking. They think they know what the over-under will be. In some cases, they are being humorous, but in other instances, they really aren’t exaggerating.
