Everyone loves the Broncos’ beautiful throwback uniform

“Please don’t go back!” Everyone seems to agree that the Broncos should make their throwback look their primary uniform.

The Denver Broncos broke out their beautiful throwback uniform against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and everyone loved it.

Broncos fans have called for the team to make the throwback look the team’s primary uniform, and several players have echoed that sentiment.

“I think it’s the coolest uniform we have, so I’m hoping we can wear it more often,” wide receiver Devaughn Vele said last week. “I like those colors.”

Pat Surtain, the team’s star cornerback, said he wishes the team could wear the throwback uniform more often. Denver tight end Adam Trautman has said it would be nice if it becomes the primary uniform in the future.

Broncos fans and pundits are not alone. National pundits and even fans from other teams have made it clear that the 1977-inspired throwback uniform is Denver’s best look.

Unfortunately, the Broncos did not seriously consider a full-time switch to the throwback design when they made their new uniforms that were unveiled earlier this year. After making changes in 2024, Denver can’t make further changes to the primary uniform until 2029 at the earliest.

In the meantime, the Broncos can wear throwback or alternate uniforms up to three teams per season. Denver will wear the throwback uniform one more time this season in Week 18 against the Kansas City Chiefs in January.
