Even Saquon Barkley has embraced Tommy DeVito’s ‘Tommy Cutlets’ nickname

It’s “Tommy Cutlets” time in New York.

The New York Giants are all about quarterback Tommy DeVito as he’s helping the team turn around a disastrous season after entering the starting lineup.

The New Jersey native is known for loving his mom’s homemade chicken cutlets, which has led the Giants quarterback to get the new nickname “Tommy Cutlets.”

Ahead of Sunday’s New York contest against the New England Patriots, DeVito had even running back Saquon Barkley embracing his “Tommy Cutlets” moniker while the two were hyping each other up for the game.

That’s when you know you’ve made your mark: your elite teammates are embracing you by a brand-new nickname.

DeVito has given the Giants a bit of a spark of the season, even if it probably won’t be enough to get New York into the playoffs.

Unless he falters down the stretch, it’s “Tommy Cutlets” time for New York, and Giants fans will have to hope DeVito can keep the wins coming (unless they were hoping for New York to tank for a draft pick, of course).
