The Buffalo Bills are fresh off a loss to the Carolina Panthers in the preseason.
Naturally, that comes with a huge asterisk. Buffalo did not play their starting lineup in the 31-26 loss, opting to take a “stay healthy” approach.
That’s nothing new in the NFL.
While current Bills quarterback Josh Allen has said he’ll play in the preseason, Hall of Famer Jim Kelly admitted he was not too keen on doing so back in his day. He didn’t think he needed all that work… and his resume speaks for itself.
“Not much,” Kelly said.
