Former Alabama offensive tackle [autotag]Evan Neal[/autotag] is loving every second of his NFL journey thus far. Today, Neal officially became a member of the New York Giants after inking a four year deal worth $24.6. million which included a $15 million signing bonus.
Neal was the Giants second selection at No. 7 overall. The Giants used their first pick on former Oregon defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux at the No. 5 slot. For reference, Thibodeaux’s deal was four years at $31.3 million and $20 million as a signing bonus.
The Giants have team fifth-year options for both players. Neal and Thibodeaux look to rebuild a struggling franchise as key pieces for the next decade or so.
Neal joins former Tide players Xavier McKinney and Robert Foster in New York.
