Despite leading the nation in both yards (4,125) and touchdowns (43), Florida quarterback Kyle Trask is now a longshot to take home the Heisman Trophy, according to ESPN’s latest Heisman watch and the latest betting odds.

Trask ranks fourth on this week’s list, behind both Alabama‘s Mac Jones and Devonta Smith, who both shined in the Crimson Tide’s win over UF in the SEC Championship on Saturday. Smith is now the new leader, while Jones is right behind him at No. 2.

Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who continues to impress despite fewer outings than the other quarterbacks on the list, ranks third.

Trask is ranked fourth now, and he received no first-place votes from ESPN’s college football staff.

Here’s what they had to say about Trask.

4. Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

Total points: 28 (first-place votes: 0)

Notable: Trask and the Gators lost to Alabama, but it was close because he tossed for 408 yards and three touchdowns. His 43 TDs lead the FBS this season.

Quotable: “We were rolling pretty good,” Trask said of the Alabama game. “We just ran out of time.”

Heisman odds: +2000

Ranking fifth behind Trask is yet another Alabama player, running back Najee Harris.

The winner of the Heisman will be announced on Jan. 5.
