Adam Schefter has been working with Chris Mortensen at ESPN since 2009, when the former joined the network as an NFL Insider.
But as Schefter revealed on Twitter during a very, very busy Monday of the legal tampering window opening up in NFL free agency, it turns out that Mortensen JUST started following Schefter on Twitter.
That’s right. Twelve years working together, around the same amount of time on spent on Twitter and now Mort is following Schefty. Pretty funny stuff.
Here’s the tweet from Schefter, followed by Mortensen responding, along with a few other fun responses that have us chuckling:
After all these years, a big day for me: pic.twitter.com/QoxAW5WqzW

Seems you’re going places, per sources. 🤷🏼♂️😂 https://t.co/yCaMz5kUai

I remember the day Adam followed me and tweeted my name on Twitter @mortreport
I was a local news reporter and someone in my family printed it out and put it on the refrigerator.
I don’t think they did that when you tweeted me 😂❤️— Dianna Russini (@diannaESPN) March 15, 2021
