ESPN sources on Stefon Diggs: ‘Dude is a beast… could have career year’

ESPN quotes sources on Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

ESPN is currently going position-by-position and ranking players from across the NFL in each. Currently in the spotlight in wide receivers.

The world-wide leader tabbed their top-10, and the Falcons’ Julio Jones edged out the Saints’ Michael Thomas and Cardinals’ DeAndre Hopkins for the top spot, respectively. In terms of the Bills, their No.1 wide receiver Stefon Diggs does see his name mentioned.

But unfortunately just as an honorable mentioned. Still, that’s the recognition. But more interestingly were the thought provided on Diggs in this analysis.

Anonymous NFL sources gave their takes on each player that appeared on the ranking, even honorable mentioned such as Diggs. Two of them spoke on the Bills’ No.1 receiver and they had some great things to say.

Here’s the breakdown on Diggs:

Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills: “Would go to battle with Diggs all day. Dude is a beast. And he has that No. 1 WR dog to him. I love that.” — NFL offensive assistant; “He could have a career year in Buffalo by the way they will use him. He’s a true No. 1 but he seems constantly unhappy and frustrated.” — another NFL assistant.

Buffalo is hoping that any of these concerns about happiness are put to rest. While not a new criticism of Diggs, so far he seems happier with Buffalo as opposed to his former home with the Minnesota Vikings. It remains to be seen how things unfold once Diggs gets on the actual field with his new teammates such as quarterback Josh Allen, but there’s not reason to fret until something unfolds.

But having said that, hearing words such as “beast” and “dog” to describe Diggs? That’s an attitude Buffalo is going to love about him.
