ESPN roundtable still picks Bills over Patriots for AFC East, Super Bowl

ESPN program Get Up roundtable on the AFC East, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and 2021 NFL free agency.

No NFL team has done more in the NFL free agency’s tampering period than the New England Patriots.

The Buffalo Bills’ AFC East rivals have made marquee signings in the first 24 hours since teams have been allowed to talk to pending free agents from other teams. Some of those include linebacker Matthew Judon along with tight ends Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith.

On the other hand, the Bills haven’t done anything at all.

That’s because it was never Buffalo’s goal to do so. The Bills wanted to keep their own guys and they mostly did.

We’re still a long ways away from NFL rosters being finalized for the 2021 season… but in a way-too-early future projection, ESPN says that the Pats still haven’t closed the gap on the Bills.

During a roundtable discussion on the morning program Get Up, analysts Dan Graziano, David Pollack, Ryan Clark and Damien Woody all still selected the Bills as their AFC East favorite next season. Woody, a former Patriots offensive lineman, even went a step further. He picked them as his early-offseason favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

A big reason for all of their answers? Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
