Although Texas will play Oklahoma State on Saturday for the Big 12 Championship game, it’s never too early to examine next year’s schedule.
The Longhorns are joining the SEC in 2024, bringing new challenges and opportunities for recruiting the Big 12 cannot offer. We already know the opponents and some dates for Texas’ games next year, but the specific times and dates for some are undetermined. Here are Texas’ 2024 opponents.

On Monday, dates for key matchups were released by ESPN. We now know when Texas will face Georgia, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
- Georgia travels to Austin on Oct. 19
- Texas travels to Arkansas on Nov. 16
- Texas travels to Texas A&M on Nov. 30
Texas will have a much tougher conference schedule next season than what it is used to in the Big 12, but being able to play Georgia, Florida and Mississippi State at home will help tremendously.
